Services

Dr Paga provides comprehensive dentistry for the entire family:

Cosmetic Fillings

We specialize in non-metal, mercury free fillings that look like your own natural teeth.  These fillings are made from a natural tooth colored composite resin.  These white fillings feel like your natural teeth and are very strong.  Composite Resin fillings are used to treat decay, minor cracks, tooth fractures, and filling gaps.  Cosmetic fillings are completed in a single appointment at Paga Family Dentistry.  Please give us a call or visit us to receive more information on cosmetic fillings.

Endodontic treatment (Root Canals)

A tooth that has advanced decay may require a root canal to restore the tooth.  Teeth that have severe infection or decay may be sensitive to temperature or pressure and cause severe pain.   An abscess may form if the infection or decay is not treated.  A root canal is recommended if a tooth has an abscess/infection, there is injury or trauma to the tooth or there is decay in the tooth’s pulp.  Root canals are usually covered with a porcelain crown to restore the shape of the tooth.  Contact our office to learn more about your options for great dental care.

Dentures & Partials

Paga Family Dentistry offers natural looking complete dentures and partial dentures.  Complete Dentures are removable teeth plates that can replace a full mouth of missing teeth.  Natural teeth are sometimes lost due to gum disease, injury or tooth decay.  Dentures improve your appearance and health because you can eat and speak better than you could without teeth.

Removable Partial Dentures are false teeth attached to a gum colored base that fits in your mouth covering missing teeth.  The partial may have metal or plastic clasps (precision attachments).  Call Paga Family Dentistry to learn more about Partial Dentures and Complete Dentures.

Emergency Treatment and Extractions

We offer prompt service for patients experiencing discomfort and require emergency treatment or extractions.  Periodically, it is required that a permanent tooth be extracted to treat advanced infection, decay, or gum disease.  An extraction may be suggested to make room for cosmetic or orthodontic treatment plan, such as wisdom teeth extraction.  Dr. Paga will review all possible treatments to keep your teeth, however, extraction may be suggested when no other treatment is suitable to restore your oral health.   We suggest maintaining good oral health at home and keeping regular preventative appointments with our office. Contact our office immediately if you are suffering from pain or discomfort from your teeth.

MINI Dental Implants

Mini Dental Implants require less implementation time and are minimally invasive so they are more affordable than traditional implants.  They can often be placed and loaded in a single day appointment.  Small holes are created in the tissue using a pilot drill and the implants are then inserted into the holes and tightened into place.  These implants are a great option for denture stabilization.

Oral Surgery

Periodically, it is required that a permanent tooth be extracted to treat advanced infection, decay, or gum disease.  An extraction may be suggested to make room for cosmetic or orthodontic treatment plan, such as wisdom teeth extraction.  Dr. Paga will review all possible treatments to keep your teeth, however, extraction may be suggested when no other treatment is suitable to restore your oral health.   We suggest maintaining good oral health at home and keeping regular preventative appointments with our office. Contact our office immediately if you are suffering from pain or discomfort from your teeth.

Implants

Dental implants are used to replace one or more missing teeth through inserting an orthodontic anchor into your mouth to serve as a root for a crown.  This restores strength and stability of the tooth to allow natural jaw movement and prevents teeth from shifting.  X-rays are required to verify adequate bone mass in the patient’s mouth.  Contact our office today to learn more about implants.

Whitening

We offer several options to help improve the color of your teeth.  Our products can help remove stains that cause your teeth to have a yellow appearance.  Our methods are effective and efficient.  Contact our office today to learn more!

Crown & Bridge

A porcelain crown is a dental cap used to cover the surface of a single tooth.  This custom crown is made in the same shape and color as the tooth it is replacing.  Porcelain crowns are strong and is a good way to cover implants, discolored teeth or weak teeth.

A dental bridge is a permanent dental appendage that is used to restore areas of one or more missing teeth.  This is often used to restore bite function, prevent teeth from shifting and restore a natural smile.  A dental bridge is made of a crown on either side of the gap with artificial teeth, known as pontics, placed in between.  These pontics will look natural and function just like your other teeth.  Contact us today to learn more about your options!

Porcelain Veneers

A  porcelain veneer is a thin layer of material that covers all the exposed surfaces of a tooth that is made of porcelain.  These ultra thin custom-made tooth color porcelain veneers are typically used to improve the aesthetics of the tooth or to protect the tooth from decay.  Contact our office today to learn more!

We work with kids of all ages and perform a variety of services for them.  We recommend children have their first dentist visit before they turn one.  We will start to do two cleanings a year as children get older.  Here are some great websites on keeping your children’s mouths healthy!

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is a safe and effective sedative agent that is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask that fits over your nose to help you relax.  You will breathe normally through your nose and will not fall asleep.  You will be able to hear the dentist and respond.  Please let us know if you are interested in nitrous oxide!
